‘All-Through’ Academy Consultation
On 10th October 2016 St Edward’s College completed a consultation period regarding a proposed ‘all-through academy’ for boys and girls aged 4-18, from September 2017. Information regarding the outcome of the proposal will be made public via the school website as soon as it is available. Until such time comes, Runnymede remains as an independent school. Introduction to our school
Runnymede St Edward's is an Independent Catholic Primary School for boys and girls aged 3-11 years, welcoming children of all faiths.
The school is built on the tradition of our founders, the Congregation of Christian Brothers. Based on their vision, Runnymede is a place in which individuals can develop fully, contributing as happy and caring members of a school community. Children’s unique talents are valued, and they learn to live as well-mannered, self-disciplined and confident individuals.
Located in Sandfield Park, West Derby, Liverpool, Runnymede has a long tradition of providing an outstanding all-round education. The school holds and excellent academic record and we are proud of our musical and sporting tradition.
We are the Choir School for junior Choristers of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ The King in Liverpool.
