Cyberbullying

You may remember that Runnymede, alongside many other schools in England and Wales, used a week in November to focus on these issues. Runnymede Juniors followed 'The Smart Crew' on their travels, getting advice on dealing with mean messaging, bogus Internet 'friends' and the possible consequences. Meanwhile, the Early Years dived into Hector's World completing activities with a similar message to convey.

Safer Internet Day

European Safer Internet Day (SID) is supported by countries throughout Europe and during that week, a range of activities will be taking place across the continent to help protect young people online.

Safer Internet Day is intended to keep the rules for safe Internet use in the forefront of our minds and , if you understand the internet and understand what the risks are, there are a number of things you can do that will make your child safer online.
